Robert travelled to Uganda to gain highly sensitive access to the marginalised and repressed LGBTQI+ community, capturing three prominent activists and their dreams of travelling to Europe to escape some of the world’s harshest anti-homosexuality laws.
The film was supported by award-winning production company Swan Films, but was unable to gain a commission due to visa complications.
